my Story
Hello and welcome! My name is Kassandra. It is a pleasure to meet you!
I am one of 4 girls and one of the youngest of 7 kids. I know what you are thinking. "Seven?!"
It was a lot of noise, laughter, inevitable antagonising of each other, and a lot of love.
I was raised in the countryside of Massachusetts near the ocean and not far from the lakes and mountains. I had a lot of nature surrounding me to explore and I took full advantage of it. I have lived in New Hampshire and Florida for short periods of my life, leaving my heart in each place I have lived and leaving behind beloved friends who are like family to me.
My journey starts with the example of my Mom who always turned to natural solutions first to support her family and many kids and only went to the local holistic family doctor for our medical needs that needed more professional help.
We learned that trying natural options first can be preventative and we rarely needed to visit the doctor because of that.
Our doctor used to praise my Mom for being so "on it" with her kids and not running to him with every sniffle. But we are so grateful doctors are there when we really need them and I loved Dr Ward who took good care of us kids. I wonder what he is up to today?...
When I was 5 years old I had a traumatic experience involving the drowning of my younger sister. I was the one who found her and I am so grateful I did. I found her minutes from it being too late to save her.
This was a pivotal point in my life that started a series of symptoms.
These symptoms started with a nervous, painful tummy and a lot of anxiety.
I would drink chamomile tea and use hot water bottles for my stomach when I was home.
When I wasn't home I would carry a bottle of Tums with me wherever I went because it was the only thing that soothed it. Now the smell of Tums makes me gag bringing back those emotions and memories. It's a shame M&M's weren't the solution, ay? That would have been delicious.
At age 11, I experienced 3 deaths in one year which led to a fear of getting sick and dying. This anxiety over my health and well-being worsened my symptoms and I started having anxiety attacks on a regular basis. By age 15, I eventually turned to anxiety medication to assist me in managing these attacks.
This was so helpful and got me through a very difficult time.
In the meantime, I was a gregarious, happy, laughing kid when I was not having these attacks.
On the outside it appeared I was ok to the average person. I smiled, laughed, and loved running around with my many friends.
But inside my nervous system was on high alert.
After a few years I was seeing the medication was not enough and I needed to do some nervous system work and discover the root cause. You might be reading this and thinking, "It was the events that happened when you were 5 and 11!" And you are right!
we all develop coping skills to survive experiences and
we can deceive ourselves and others to think
that we are ok.
It took 30 years to realise the impact of that drowning event and how it was a root cause of so much of what I was coping with. It was even causing pain in my lower back that I had thought was just a spinal misalignment. It just lingered and ached.
At this point I was working with a doctor who specialised in hormones and thyroid health. He had enhanced his practice by learning about the root causes of these issues and taught me the importance of correcting nutrient deficiencies, detoxing toxins like heavy metals which can cause anxiety and had been damaging my thyroid, and other ways to detox my life and body to feel better and heal health layers.
I started seeing positive results and a change in my symptoms and anxiety levels within 2 weeks.
As I continued this protocol I found I had a handle on my anxiety now and no longer needed assistance with medicine.
As I corrected these layers and deficiencies, I also learned how food sensitivities can lead to anxiety and depression so I started my journey of eliminating food groups till I discovered I was gluten and dairy intolerant. I then met and married Sam, a wonderfully hilarious British man, and moved abroad to get to know his family and culture better.
This adventure was a new trigger for me and brought back my anxiety.
Unknowns about my new culture, not having a medical doctor that I was familiar with, chiropractor, etc and for the first time in my life not having my very large family surrounding me and able to be hands on to help me was daunting.
England is a damp country and rains often. So damp and cold is more common here then I was used to. One of our apartments had a damp issue I was unaware of till it became obvious 6 months into living there.
I had started feeling really tired and gaining weight. None of my supplements or natural approaches were working. Doctors just told me it was chronic fatigue and offered no additional information or testing apart from checking my iron levels.
Fast forward to year 5 of living in England and Sam had some health issues that changed our work, where we lived, and had a lot of unknowns. I started having anxiety attacks again for the first time in decades.
during this time my nervous system
was like a live wire.
Always ready for the next danger and worry.
I was in a constant state of fight or flight.
It was at this time I reached out to a friend who was able to test me and find out what the root cause was for my symptoms returning.
I found out that I had mold toxicity from our previous damp apartment and needed to detox the mold, heal the damage, and support my nervous system since the mold had created an imbalance that was causing the new symptoms of anxiety and severe lack of energy.
It was made clear that my childhood traumas were part of the root cause for my health issues.
I started on an amazing and wonderfully healing journey of emotional release therapy. If you have never done it, look into it! It has been so healing and changed me and my health for the better. I have a great recommendation if you need one who works with me remotely.
It was at this time I was introduced to dōTERRA's Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils and just how powerful they were.
I had tried essential oils before for anxiety, sleep, and energy and saw little to no difference or benefit.
So I was quite skeptical.
Did I really need these in my protocol to correct my nervous system and bring it back to balance?
Here is what I discovered.
Certified Pure Tested Grade essential oils were going to be a huge support in regulating these emotions.
My protocol:
1 drop Copaiba under my tongue (nervous system support)
1 drop Elevation on the back of my neck (emotional support)
Diffuse 4 drops of Lavender in the evenings (anxious feelings support)
Lifelong Vitality Supplements twice daily (nutrients for healthy cells and gut)
I was shocked at how effective this was!
These were obviously far superior to any essential oils I had tried before!
This protocol was so easy, so effective, and I was hooked.
Healing is not linear.
Along with other needed support prescribed to me, these oils and supplements have made a world of difference.
I feel better more often. When I feel crummy it is fewer and farther between times now.
In addition to feeling and coping significantly better,
my skin, hair, and nails have dramatically improved.

inevitably, I couldn't help but tell others

they were helping me so much.

This natural inclination to tell others about them struck up interest in the oils.
I realised I could create an income from this love and the joy
of sharing the oils with others.
I was already doing it and I did it because I knew they would benefit from them.
The motive was love and always has been and it was natural for me to
want to help others.
I became a Wellness Advocate in April 2020 and have loved every minute of it.
I would never say it is easy to do this work, but it is simple.
